The Data Visualization tab enables the user to load the Concentration Fields after all defined time batches and the computed Flow Field for 3D visualization in the Visualization area of the GeoDict GUI. All files represent the field in Z-direction, which is the fixed computation direction for Transport Concentration Field simulations.
A Concentration Field file (*.hht) showing the distribution of solute concentration in the domain is created after each time batch defined in the Experiment tab when setting up the simulation. After clicking Load for one of the concentration field files the Loading volume file dialog opens. In the file, only the concentration field is contained. The field may be compressed by the LIR solver and may require decompression to enable all visualization features. When a volume field is previously loaded, the option Keep Existing Volume Fields is available. This feature allows for loading multiple time batches to visualize the transport over time.
After loading the concentration field, it is shown in the Visualization area of the GeoDict GUI. In the Visualization panel, directly above it, parameters for the visualization of the concentration field during the transport simulation are selectable under the Volume Field tab. The concentration field can be shown in 2D or 3D and with or without the structure.
For more details on the available visualization options please refer to the Visualization user guide.
The computed results for the flow field can be loaded directly from the result file by clicking Load FlowField_z.vap. In the opening dialog, select the desired components of the flow field to be shown. The saved fields are compressed and require decompression to enable all visualization features. When a volume field is previously loaded the option Keep Existing Volume Fields is available.
The options available for the visualization of the flow field are the same as in FlowDict, SatuDict, or FilterDict. A detailed description of the visualization options can be found in the FlowDict user guide.
