In the Predicted Experiment panel, enter fluid properties and the thickness of the media to use for the prediction. These values may differ from the corresponding values in the Measured Experiment panel.

Control the Thickness of media, the Density of fluid and the Viscosity of fluid that should be used for prediction.

To use the same values as for the measurement check Use Media and Fluid from Measured Experiment. Then, the value options are grayed out.

After setting up the fluid properties and media thickness, enter a pressure drop, mean velocity, or flow rate for the predicted experiments. If a Pressure Drop is prescribed, then the predicted property is the mean velocity. If a Mean Velocity or a Flow Rate is prescribed, then the pressure drop is predicted. These parameters are similar to the Boundary Conditions parameters for the other solvers.

In addition to the manual definition of the Pressure Drop, there are some presets based on DIN, ASTM and ISO norms.
