Save 3D Images

To save a 3D image of your result, switch to the 3D view, either by selecting the 3D icon SaveImages_3DIcon in the toolbar or by selecting View 3D Rendering from the menu bar before selecting File Save Image as.

SaveImage_3D_Resolution

Resolution

Choose the resolution to save the image with the Current Resolution, define a Custom Resolution or use a Preset resolution. For Custom Resolution enter the desired values for Width and Height.

Crop all empty space

Select Crop all empty space to reduce the image size by removing all borders in background color.

Note-Important

Important! This is a post-processing option. After generating the image with the given pixel values, the image is cropped. This reduces the image size!

If it is important to obtain a standard image size chosen for preset, it is not recommended to crop all empty space.

If this is selected, the image can be embedded in borders with the background color (Embed after cropping). The number of pixels or a percentage value for each border can be defined separately in this case.

Save with transparent background

Finally, check Save with transparent background to save the image without a background color.

Note-Important

Important! This option is not possible for JPG images which do not support this feature. If you save an image with transparent background as JPG, the background is set to black.

Save Image

Click OK to select the settings for your image.

Choose a File Name and an image format and save the image by clicking Save.
