The geodesic tortuosity field can also be visualized through the Data Visualization tab when clicking the Load button.

It contains for each voxel the shortest path distance between this voxel and the inflow plane. Therefore, on the inflow plane all voxels contain the value 0. Voxels that do not belong to the Material to Analyze also have the value 0.

In the example below, the geodesic tortuosity was calculated for the pore space which is Material ID 00. The inflow plane is Z- and you can observe that the path length for voxel near the inflow plane is smaller than for the voxels at the opposite of the inflow plane.
