Image Registration is an intensity-based image alignment method and is used to register two scans from the same structure that are shifted or rotated compared to each other.

Specify a Target Image out of the datasets loaded to the Image Processing dialog. Click Apply to shift and rotate the complete current 3D image to align with the selected target image.

In the following example two images from the same structure were taken from a different angle. To use both images, for example for AI-segmentation, they must be registered.
