In GeoDict, the linear elastic material model can be defined by either the parameter pair Young's Modulus and Poisson Ratio

or the Bulk Modulus and the Shear Modulus . It is redundant for the model which parameter pair is used.

All nonlinear material laws available in GeoDict’s Material Database are based on linear isotropic elastic materials, except of the failure model, which is also available for transverse isotropic materials.
