Post-Process Results
Inspect and Show-Off your Results in GeoDict!
The commands in GeoDict produce different kinds of results:
- GeoDict result file (*.gdr): This file is generated by most commands. It contains information about the run and its results, such as input parameters, runtime, and outputs of the specified command.
- Structure files (*.gdt): Most commands save the generated or analyzed geometry in the result folder.
- Volume fields (e.g. *.vap, *.cap, ...): When analyzing geometries with the image analysis and simulation modules, 3D result files are generated.
Inspect your result files in the Result Viewer and visualize structures and volume fields in the Visualization Area.
The use of Save Image as... and Save Video as… are excellent and easy-to-use choices when the user intends to present to the public structures and visualized results after working with GeoDict.
The high resolution achievable when saving images or videos this way is suitable for press-ready flyers and posters.
