GeoDict User Guide 2025

GPU Options

Identify Binder (AI) can run in GPU mode using a suitable graphic card or in CPU mode. All suitable graphic cards detected during installation of GeoDict are displayed in the GPU Options tab. Use the checkboxes to select the graphic card you want to use for the computation. If no graphic card is found during installation a message appears and the run is performed on the CPU.

The choice for Batch Size is related to the memory available on the graphics card (GPU). Thus, for CPU-based computations, the choice of batch size is not needed and can be left at the default.

Conceptually, the algorithm loads the graphics card with portions of work called batches. Currently, the selection must be made manually, and the parameter is set following the value entered in Batch Size.

Note-Info

Note! The batch size might be chosen too large for the graphics card. In this case, an error message appears and the number of batches needs to be reduced.
