The geodesic tortuosity field can also be visualized through the Data Visualization tab when clicking the Load button.

It contains for each voxel the shortest path distance between this voxel and the inflow plane. Therefore, on the inflow plane all voxels contain the value 0. Voxels that do not belong to the Material to Analyze also have the value 0.

In the example below, the visualization of the geodesic tortuosity field is only activated for Material ID 01 on which the calculations were performed. The inflow plane is Z- and you can observe the grains that are not connected to this plane.
