GeoDict User Guide 2025

Data Visualization

The Data Visualization tab enables you to load for each batch the Concentration Loading *.hht when using the Tracer-based approach or the Transport Result *.hht when using the Field-based approach for 3D visualization in the Visualization area of GeoDict. Additionally, when using the Tracer-based approach the Trajectory File of the particles can be loaded as described here. For both approaches the computed Flow Field is available as well. All files represent the field in Z-direction, which is the fixed computation direction for Adsorption simulations.

The *.hht volume files contain volume fields for the Concentration of the solute and the Loading of adsorbate in the porous adsorbent. When using the Tracer-based approach the Concentration field is only available if the corresponding option under the Tracer Solver subtab was selected.

Note-Info

Note! The Tracer-based concentration field can have voxels that are not passed by any particle trajectory. These voxels are shown with a concentration of zero because no concentration reached them. This is an artifact of this approach. To reduce the number of voxels with zero concentration you can increase the number of tracers per inflow voxel.
