GeoDict User Guide 2025

Firewall Settings

For the GeoDict floating license to work, the RLM server must be running and accessible from all computers where GeoDict will be used. That means, if the RLM server is behind a firewall, open the specified TCP/IP ports, such that GeoDict will be able to connect to the server. By default, the following ports are used:

  • 5053 - the main RLM server port. GeoDict must be able to reach this port. This port number is also encrypted in the *.glic file, so if you use another port as RLM main server, you must inform Math2Market about this when you request a license.
  • 5054 - the RLM web interface. It is not necessary that GeoDict reaches this port, but you may want users to access it to be able to see who is using the GeoDict license. You are free to use another port number here.
  • 42825 - the m2m ISV server port. GeoDict must be able to reach this port. You are free to use another port number here by changing the number in the *.lic file (the number is not encrypted in the license).
