The .rpm packages have been tested for

• RHEL / Rocky Linux 8
• RHEL / Rocky Linux 9
• RHEL / Alma Linux 10
• openSUSE Leap 15.3
• openSUSE Leap 15.4
• openSUSE Leap 15.5
• openSUSE Leap 15.6

To install them, you need administrator privileges. Install them as usual by using yum (RHEL):  

yum install GeoDict2026-1-1-Linux-x86_64-Release.rpm

yum install GeoDict2026-1-1-Linux-x86_64-Release-Tools.rpm 

or zypper (openSUSE):

zypper install GeoDict2026-1-1-Linux-x86_64-Release.rpm 

zypper install GeoDict2026-1-1-Linux-x86_64-Release-Tools.rpm

The installer will check for dependencies and, if required, download and install additional packages from the respective Linux repository.

GeoDict will be installed in /opt/geodict2026/. The content of the GeoDict Tools package will be installed in /opt/geodict2026/Tools/.

After installation, start GeoDict by typing /opt/geodict2026/geodict2026 in the command shell.
