GeoDict User Guide 2025

Options

The Relative Gas Diffusivity dialog opens when clicking the Edit… button and includes the Wetting Parameters tab, the Constituent Materials tab, the Boundary Conditions tab, the Solver tab, and the Equations & References tab, which cites several references.

At the top of the dialog, enter the Result File Name. The result file is saved in the chosen project folder (File Choose Project Folder in the menu bar).

The Equations & References tab shows the formulas that are used for the solver which are described in the DiffuDict chapter:

  • Laplace equation,
  • Fick’s first law,
  • Tortuosity Definition.

No parameters can be edited on this tab.

Tabs of the Relative Gas Diffusivity dialog

  • Wetting Parameters
Select how the fluid distribution is determined and choose the saturation steps for the diffusivity calculations.
  • Constituent Materials
Select the materials in the structure and their properties, including the selection of invading and displaced fluid.
  • Boundary Conditions
Set the boundary conditions for the diffusivity calculations.
  • Solver
Select a diffusivity solver and its settings.
