Pile Options

Determine physical properties of the resulting structure model such as size, resolution, overlapping mode, and solid volume percentage.

The parameters defining the general properties of the granular structure are entered under the Pile Options tab. They are grouped into Domain, Generation and Overlap Mode, and Stopping Criterion panels and five or six single options depending on the chosen Stopping Criterion.

GRAING~2_img3

The parameters are organized in the following groups:

  • Structure Options
Pile in the current domain with or without keeping the current structure and define the material ID mode.
  • Domain
Define the domain size, voxel length and origin.
  • Generation and Overlap Mode
    Choose a generation mode.
  • Stopping Criterion
Define according to which criteria the piling of objects should be stopped.
  • General Options
Define parallelization, temperature and random seed for the structure generation.
