Depending on the equation to be solved, two or three different flow solvers are available for solving the equation. The Stokes equation can be solved by the LIR, SimpleFFT, or EJ solver. The Stokes-Brinkman equation can be solved by the LIR or SimpleFFT solver. Select the solver in the pull-down menu to activate the corresponding tab below.

The LIR solver requires the least computational resources (RAM) and is therefore selected by default. Often, the LIR is also the fastest solver, but that may depend on the parameter selection and the 3D structure model.
