The simulation process can be parallelized to speed-up the computation process. It depends on your license, how many parallel processes you may use. The solver benchmarks illustrate the speed-up that you can achieve.

The Parallelization Options dialog box opens when clicking the Edit... button, to choose between Sequential, Parallel (Shared Memory), Automatic Maximum of Threads, and (if available) Cluster.
