Object Type and Percentage
For all objects, the left column of the panel contains the name of the object type, the object percentage in the structure, and the material.
Adding and removing object types
Sphere and Ellipsoid are the two default Object Types. At the bottom left of the dialog box, clicking Add inserts other object types chosen from the Object Type pull-down menu (Sphere Agglomerate, Superquadric Particle, Polyhedrons, etc.).
Unwanted object types can be discarded when clicking Remove in the left column for that object type.
Clicking on the object type name minimizes the object panel, and clicking on it again when minimized, expands it. A scroll bar at the right allows to navigate up and down in the list of chosen object types.
The settings for an object can be saved with all its options by clicking Save… and later reloaded by clicking Load…

Percentage
The percentage of a certain object type can be specified as Count %, Volume %, or Weight %, as selected from the pull-down menu at the bottom right of the dialog box.
Note that, if the Weight option is chosen, the material density must be provided (or it is taken from the GeoDict material database) even when Grammage is not selected under the Create Options tab.

Rel. Volume and Abs. Volume
Material
Material designates the constituent material assigned to the object type used in the structure. Clicking on the material gives access to selecting the desired material from the GeoDict Material Database. When none of the materials available in the database fit the preferred specifications, Manual should be chosen.
To match realistic material colors for visualization in a certain application, or to distinguish the constituting materials more easily, the colors of the materials can be changed through Settings → Color & Visibility Settings in the Menu bar, or by unfolding the Color & Visibility sidebar next to the GeoDict visualization area as described in the Visualization User Guide.

Density and Weight
When Grammage is chosen as Stopping Criterion or Weight % is chosen for Percentages, the material Density / (g/cm3) of that object type appears. For materials included in the GeoDict Material Database, the density is automatically entered. For other materials (manual, user-defined), the density must be entered manually.
The object Density, given in g/cm3, is an intrinsic property of the selected object type, affecting the final weight of the granular structure. The density of objects is intimately related to the Grammage / (g/m2) of the created granular structure. When denser objects are used, and the grammage is unchanged, less objects of this type appear in the object structure.
Vice versa, when the same object type is used but an increase in grammage should be achieved, the structure must contain more objects.
