Change Slice Thickness

Use Change Slice Thickness if the thickness of the slices in a scan differs from the pixel size.

Select the Unit for the voxel length from the pull-down menu at the top. The available units are m, cm, mm, µm, nm, and Inch.

For the Scale Function the two interpolation methods Tri-Linear or Nearest Neighbor are available. See the Scale tool for a visualization of the difference between the two methods.

From the pull-down menu, select the Direction in which the slice thickness should be changed.

Enter the Slice Thickness in the selected unit.

After Apply is clicked the selected scale function is applied to add or remove voxels in the given direction to obtain the different slice thickness.
