GeoDict User Guide 2025

Change Voxel Length

Use Change Voxel Length to adjust the resolution of your image. When you enter a higher voxel length value than the original, the number of voxels in the three dimensions decreases since fewer voxels are needed to build the image.

Select the Unit for the voxel length from the pull-down menu at the top. The available units are m, cm, mm, µm, nm, and Inch.

For the Scale Function the two interpolation methods Tri-Linear or Nearest Neighbor are available. See the Scale tool for a visualization of the difference between the two methods.

Enter the desired New Voxel Length in the selected unit.

Click Apply to scale the image according to the new voxel length.

Note-KnowHow

Know how! You can Save your current settings for this tool as Start-Up Settings . The next time you process an image, these settings will be automatically loaded and filled into the parameter fields.
