3D Image Processing
Advanced 3D Image Processing is available for all file formats supported by ImportGeo-Vol. Images can be cut, re-sized, rotated, filtered, and segmented using different methods.
To process an image file or a stack of image files for import, click Browse, locate them, fill in the needed parameters in the Geometry Import dialog, and then click Image Processing.
All steps done in the image processing tab are not only visualized in the 2D Slice Visualization area in the 3D Image Processing dialog, but also in the main GeoDict GUI, where the view can also be switched to 3D by selecting View → 3D Rendering. You can find a short introduction to visualization in GeoDict here. For more detailed information, refer to the Visualization user guide.
