Median Filter
The Median Filter can be applied to the 3D image to remove noise or to smooth the image.
The given Sphere Radius defines the size of the mask used for the filtering of the 3D image. Enter the Sphere Radius in voxels and click Apply to filter the image immediately.
Observe the cleansing effect of applying the Median Filter after setting the Sphere Radius in the original image to 1 and then 3 voxels.

The first row shows the filtered gray values images. The second and third rows correspond to 2D and 3D Rendering views of the structure model imported after each processing.
