The algorithm to Add Periodic Copies allows to periodically repeat the structure model in the chosen direction. In contrast to the Process-Repeat, command available in the ProcessGeo module, the resulting structure still contains analytic data and can be saved in GAD format.

To add periodic copies, the original structure model should be periodic in the direction(s) to be copied. Otherwise, the resulting structure may show unwanted boundary effects. Here, periodic copies of the structure are added in the X-direction (2 copies) and the Y-direction (1 copy).
