Algorithms

Nine different commands are selectable in the pull-down menu under Algorithms.

All of them are also accessible from the GAD Objects project status section menu.

Note-Important

Important! The commands under Algorithms modify the current structure and no result files are saved. Select File → Save Structure As…, in the menu bar, to save the modified structures in GAD format.

Commands available in the Algorithms menu
Remove Object Overlap Shift, rotate or deform objects to reduce the overlap areas between objects. Add Periodic Copies Repeat the structure periodically. Expose Periodic Objects Dissolve periodic reappearances of objects crossing periodic boundaries. Coarsen Curved Fibers Reduce the number of fiber segments in curved fibers. Cut Fibers to Domain Shorten fibers to the current domain. Match SVF Distribution Re-distributes the GAD objects to achieve a predefined solid volume fraction distribution. Ungroup List-Objects Split objects composed of multiple segments or components into separate objects. Combine GAD Objects Create a single combined object out of all current objects. Re-Voxelize GAD Objects Re-create the voxel strcuture from the current list of GAD objects.
