DICOM File Formats
A DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) image is a file that contains a medical image (or a series of images) and a comprehensive set of meta data that describes who, what, how, and when the image was produced.
GeoDict can import DICOM file formats, such as DCM, DMZ, IMA, and ZIP, directly. Information such as the dimensions of the file (NX, NY, NZ) and the Voxel Length is read automatically from the imported file.
Click Quick Segmentation to segment the image without image processing or click Image Processing to open the image in the 3D Image Processing dialog.
