Simulate Diffusion Experiment

Use Simulate Diffusion Experiment to compute a stationary diffusive flux and concentration distribution if the structure contains porous constituent materials.

This command takes the local diffusivity of each Material ID as input. With this input, the Laplace equation is solved to compute the stationary diffusive flux and concentration distribution. Fick's first law is then utilized to derive the homogenized effective diffusivity. To obtain the complete three-dimensional diffusivity tensor, the Laplace equation has to be solved three times using a concentration step in each space direction as boundary condition.
