Fiber Parameters
The right column of the fiber type panel contains the parameters controlling the geometrical and physical properties of each fiber type in the paper structure.
These geometrical properties include diameter, orientation, length, position, etc. Many parameters can be set to a constant value or follow a distribution.
The fiber parameters are described in the following groups:

- Fiber Tab
Define the general fiber parameters such as diameter, fiber length, and center in sheet.
- Orientation Tab
Define the orientation parameters such as anisotropy and angle distribution.
- Shape Tab
Define the shape parameters such as curved or straight.
- Torsion Tab
Define the torsion parameters such as torsion angle.
- Distribution
For many parameters a constant value or a distribution can be given. The different distribution options are described for the diameter of a circular fiber as an example.
