GeoDict User Guide 2025

Convert to GAD

You can visualize particle trajectories or particle positions computed in FilterDict or AddiDict in GeoDict's visualization area. GeoDict distinguishes between the 3D voxel structure and the results computed on that structure. So when you save or export the 3D structure, the visualized results are not part of this structure.

Sometimes it is desirable to include particles, trajectories or streamlines in the exported structure file. To enable this, you can convert visualized results into GAD objects which are automatically added to the voxel grid with the commands in this menu. Afterwards, you can export or save this structure, e.g. with the Export as GAD Objects command.
